Gestapokeller and Augustaschacht Memorials
The Gestapokeller (Osnabrück) and Augustaschacht (Hasbergen) memorials form a unique ensemble due to their preserved building fabric and their common historical connection. Both memorials and their exhibitions, which opened in 2020, deal with the topic of “Police violence and forced labour”.

“From a place of celebration to a place of injustice” – forced labour camps on football and sports fields
The EVZ-funded project researches the history of Nazi forced labour camps on sports fields in a participatory manner. Their history will be made visible on a digital map that will be published at the end of 2024 and will contain various, playful, discovery-based approaches as well as educational offers.
