Football Contact Zones Project I Pop-Up
The Football Contact Zones Project will be set up in public spaces for between one and two days. The Football Contact Zones consist of four different thematic stations, with each station focusing on one of the following questions:
- how are football and politics connected?
- What role does nationalism play in European football?
- Who is fighting for recognition and belonging in football?
- How can solidarity be strengthened in sport?
The Bergen-Belsen Memorial is cooperating on the project with Makkabi Deutschland e.V. and the Institute for Didactics of Democracy at the University of Hanover, as well as with other partners at the individual dates.
